## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA19LA156](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA19LA156), Apr 23, 2019: Cessna 208 (N366TA), Key West, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's decision to attempt a takeoff in rough sea conditions, resulting in damage to the floats and the sinking of the seaplane.

## Other reports on N366TA (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 20170317000959I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/20170317000959I), Mar 17, 2017: Cessna 208 (N366TA), Pahokee, FL, Minor damage. Aircraft N366TA, C208 amphibian landed on runway 35 and the right main landing gear sheared off from the float assembly.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
