## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

APPROXIMATELY 0900 LOCAL TIME A 1965 CESSNA 182H REGISTERED AS N8448S TOUCHDOWN ON RUNWAY 23 (KCRT) CROSSETT AR. ONE (1) SOUL ABOARD. DURING LANDING ROLLOUT THE AIRCRAFT WAS LEFT OF THE CENTER LINE. WHEN CORRECTING THE AIRCRAFT THE AIRMAN LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT RUNNING OFF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED APPROXIMATELY 40FT PARALLEL TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY WHERE THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP AFTER FLIPPING ON TO ITS BACK. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE WITH NO INJURIES.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA19CA259](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA19CA259), May 13, 2019: Cessna 182 (N8448S), Crossett, AR, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain the runway centerline and his subsequent failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll, which resulted in a runway excursion and subsequent nose-over.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
