## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE INCIDENT OCCURRED WHILE PERFORMING STOP AND GO LANDINGS. ON THE SECOND LANDING THE PILOT PERFORMED A TWO WHEEL LANDING WITH A 6 KNOT CROSSWIND. AS THE TAIL WHEEL WAS LOWERED THE AIRCRAFT STARTED GYROSCOPICALLY TURNING TO THE RIGHT. THE PILOT STATED THAT SHE RELEASED BACK PRESSURE ON THE STICK, ADDED LEFT RUDDER, AND APPLIED THE BRAKES AT WHICH POINT THE TAIL CAME UP AND THE PROP STRUCK THE GROUND. DAMAGE WAS INCURRED TO THE PROP, SPINNER, AND LOWER ENGINE COWLING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
