AIRCRAFT EXHIBITED IMPENDING STALL CHARACTERISTICS IN A RIGHT TURN ,PILOT DID NOT COMPLETE THE TURN CONTACTED THE SURFACE IN THE TURN WITH BOTH LANDING GEAR, TRIED TO ACCELERATE THE AIRCRAFT TO CLIMB, WAS UNABLE, AND THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED , PILOT EXECUTED LEFT TURN AS IT STALLED AND SETTLED AGAIN . ## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA19CA283](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA19CA283), May 24, 2019: Rockwell S2R (N5569X), Grangeville, ID, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's exceedance of the airplane's critical angle of attack while turning at low altitude, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
