## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 21, 2019 N543RV, LANDED ON RUNWAY 13 AT HOT SPRINGS MEMORIAL FIELD AIRPORT AND WHILE LETTING THE NOSE GEAR DOWN THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OVER THE INTERSECTION BETWEEN CROSSING RUNWAY 5/23 AND IT DAMAGED THE NOSE GEAR, BOUNCING THE PLANE BACK INTO THE AIR SLIGHTLY. AIRMEN KEPT THE NOSE GEAR OFF THE RUNWAY AS LONG AS HE COULD. AS HE TURNED OFF ON TAXIWAY HOTEL, HE PULLED THE THROTTLE TO IDLE AND MIXTURE TO IDLE CUT OFF. THE FORCE OF THE TURN BROKE THE NOSE GEAR OFF OF THE STRUT BECAUSE IT WAS NO LONGER ABLE TO CASTER AS NORMAL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
