## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN19LA290](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN19LA290), Aug 27, 2019: Beech V35 (N6245V), Monroe, WI, substantial damage. Probable cause: A total loss of engine power due to the failure of the Nos. 5 and 6 connecting rods from a lack of oil lubrication for reasons that could not be determined.

## Other reports on N6245V (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19880503021169I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19880503021169I), May 3, 1988: Beech V35 (N6245V), Lafayette, IN, Minor damage. Nose landing gear collapsed while taxiing to ramp. Found a broken nose gear extension/retraction rod.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
