## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 04/2019, AT 1851 EST (2351 Z), WHILE ON AN INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT, THE PIPER PA-44-180, N209PT, REGISTERED TO "PILOT TRAINING CENTER LLC" (MIAMI, FL), ABORTED THE DEPARTURE ROLL ON RUNWAY 21 AT THE BROOKSVILLE-TAMPA BAY REGIONAL AIRPORT (BKV - BROOKSVILLE, FL) AFTER STRIKING A FEMALE DEER WITH THE RIGHT ENGINE. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT LOWER COWL, RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOOR, AND RIGHT FLAP (LOWER SURFACE). THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT WERE UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
