## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT COMPLETED A CROSSWIND LANDING IN ACCEPTABLE CONDITIONS AND

ENCOUNTERED AN UNFORECAST AND UNFORSEEABLE GUST WHILE PROCEEDING WITH A STEP TAXI TO THE DOCK. AIRMAN USED FULL CONTROL DEFLECTION BUT WAS UNABLE TO COUNTERACT THE FORCE OF THE GUST. THIS CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO ROLL TO

THE RIGHT AND THE RIGHT WING TIP TANK IMPACTED THE WATER CAUSING MINOR

DAMAGE TO THE WING TIP TANK. PILOT-IN-COMMAND AND OCCUPANTS REPORT THAT

NO INJURIES OCCURRED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
