## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT ABOUT 3PM ON 1/1/20, I WAS FLYING N801TR FROM THE SHORELINE TO KHWO (HOLLYWOOD NORTH PERRY). I PRECEDED TOWARDS THE AIRPORT AND WAS TOLD TO REPORT MID FIELD DOWNWIND 10R. I REDUCED SPEED LOWERED THE GEAR AND DROP THE FLAPS 1 NOTCH. THE GEAR INDICATOR WHEN TO 3 GREEN, HOWEVER I NOTICED IT TOOK LONGER THAN NORMAL. I LOOKED OUT AT THE MIRRORS ON THE PONTOONS AND SAW THE WHEELS WERE DOWN. ONCE I APPROACHED MID FIELD I WAS GIVEN CLEARANCE TO LAND 10R AND I THEN ADDED A SECOND NOTCH OF FLAPS. I LANDED AT THE THRESHOLD FLEW DOWN THE CENTER LINE AND FOUND MYSELF LANDING ON THE RIGHT MAIN AND THE NOSE WHEEL BUT THE LEFT MAIN DID NOT LOCK INTO PLACE. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO AIRPORT PROPERTY AND ONLY DAMAGE TO THE HULL WHERE IT WAS SCRAPED UP. MORE EXTENSIVE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED TO THE HULL WHEN MOVING THE AIRCRAFT OFF THE RUNWAY BY LIFTING THE PLANE AND PLACING IT ON A DOLLY THAT HAD BOLTS THAT PENETRATED THE HULL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
