## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WITHIN 2000 FEET OF TOUCHDOWN, CESSNA 525 AIRCRAFT, N135RU SLID OFF RUNWAY 22 TO THE LEFT ENDING IN THE PACKED SNOW 90 DEGREES FROM THE RUNWAY, NOSE FACING RUNWAY. AT SOME POINT IN THE SLIDE, SIDE IMPACT TO THE NOSE GEAR CAUSED THE YOKE WITH WHEEL ASSEMBLY TO BREAK OFF OF THE STRUT. THE YOKE/WHEEL ASSEMBLY WAS RECOVERED APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET PRIOR TO THE AIRCRAFT RESTING PLACE. AIRCRAFT WAS MOVED, AT THE DIRECTION OF THE AIRPORT MANAGER, WITHOUT ADEQUATE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE SCENE AND WITHOUT FAA FSDO APPROVAL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
