## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JANUARY 22, AT APPROXIMATELY 1600 CDT, N3WK, A BEECH MODEL 95-B55 DURING AN INSTRUCTION FLIGHT AND LANDED AT ABILENE REGIONAL AIRPORT IN ABILENE, TEXAS. THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED ON AN INSTRUCTION FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND NO IFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AND THERE WAS SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM ABILENE, TEXAS ON JANUARY 15, AT APPROXIMATELY 1500 CDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
