## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JANUARY 15TH AT APPROXIMATELY 14:45 2020 THE PILOT OF A AMATEUR BUILT AIRCRAFT MAGNI M-24 PLUS, N327JD AT NASHUA NEW HAMPSHIRE BOIRE FIELD (KASH) WAS CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF ON RUNWAY 32.THE PILOT STATED FROM THE TIME HE RECEIVED CLEARANCE FROM THE CONTROL TOWER FOR TAKEOFF HE DOESN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING, FROM RELEASING THE AIRCRAFT BRAKE OR ROLL OUT.THE ON DUTY AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER WITNESSED THE AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT. HE STATED THE PILOT SOUNDED NORMAL WHEN RESPONDING TO HIS TAKEOFF CLEARANCE. HE NOTED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS USING A LOT MORE RUNWAY THAN WAS TYPICAL COMING ALMOST EVEN WITH THE CONTROL TOWER WITH NO SIGNS OF ROTATION. THE CONTROLLER DID NOT SEE ANY EVIDENCE OF THE PILOT ATTEMPTING TO SLOW DOWN OR ALTER HIS COURSE TO AVOID EXITING THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS COMPLETELY OFF THE RUNWAY AND INTO THE AIRPORTS GRASSY AREA ABOUT 750 FEET PRIOR TO TAXIWAY CHARLIE. THE CONTROLLER STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT POPPED UP AND BOUNCED OVER TAXIWAY CHARLIE LANDING ON THE OTHER SIDE, AND CONTINUED ACROSS THE GRASSY AREA AND FINAL CAME TO REST ABOUT 750 FEET ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TAXIWAY.THIS AIRCRAFT CAN ROTATE IN AS LITTLE AS 150 FEET. THE AIRCRAFT TRAVELED APPROXIMATELY 3300 FEET AND NEVER GOT OF THE GROUND.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA20LA076](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA20LA076), Jan 15, 2020: Magni M-24 Plus (N327JD), Nashua, NH, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's incapacitation during the takeoff roll due to a stroke.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
