## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JANUARY 29, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 16:30 CST, N6JL A RAYTHEON AIRCRAFT COMPANY B300, REGISTERED TO CHAMPAIR AVIATION, LLC, OPERATED BY AN AIRLINE TRANSPORT RATED PILOT SUSTAINED A BIRD STRIKE TO THE CENTER LEADING EDGE OF THE RIGHT WING WHILE ON APPROACH TO RUNWAY 36 AT STUTTGART, AR AIRPORT (SGT). ON APPROACH TO THE AIRPORT A FLOCK OF 8-9 LARGE BIRDS ASCENDING OUT OF A CLOUD DECK AT APPROXIMATELY 2500 FEET WAS OBSERVED, ONE BIRD STRUCK THE RIGHT LEADING EDGE OF THE WING DAMAGING IT. THE AIRCRAFT PERFORMANCE WAS NOT AFFECTED AND THE AIRCRAFT MADE A SUCCESSFUL LADING AT STUTTGART, AR (SGT). AT THE TIME OF THE BIRD STRIKE THE PILOT WAS NOT AWARE OF ANY WILD LIFE REPORTS FOR THIS AREA. THE OCCUPANTS OF THE AIRCRAFT WERE NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
