## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT LANDED AIRCRAFT WITH THE GEAR UP. MINOR DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT AND NO ONE WAS HURT.

COMMENTS: WEATHER WAS CLEAR VFR AND NOT A FACTOR. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ ACKNOWLEDGED BEING THE PIC. HE HOLDS THE APPROPRIATE RATINGS AND WAS THE SOLE MANIPULATOR OF THE CONTROLS. HE ALSO HOLDS THE NECESSARY COMPLEX AND HIGH PERFORMANCE ENDORSEMENTS. HE WAS CURRENT ON HIS FLIGHT REVIEW, MEDICAL, AND SFRA TRAINING REQUIREMENTS. SPAS INDICATES HE WAS INVESTIGATED FOR A PILOT DEVIATION ON 3/17/2019 FOR FAILURE TO FOLLOW LOST COMMUNICATIONS PROCEDURES IN THE SFRA. THIS CASE WAS CLOSED THROUGH COUNSELING.

CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED HE INTENDS TO CONDUCT FURTHER TRAINING FLIGHTS WITH HIS INSTRUCTOR TO ENSURE PROFICIENCY BUT THE EFFORT IS ON HOLD DUE TO THE COVID-19 SHUTDOWN. MULTIPLE INTERVIEWS INDICATE HE IS NOW WELL-AWARE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF ENSURING THE LANDING GEAR IS DOWN PRIOR TO LANDING. HE HAS ALSO TAKEN 4 WINGS COURSES VOLUNTARILY TO EXPAND HIS KNOWLEDGE. THE OWNER OF THE AIRCRAFT STATED HE INTENDS TO MAKE ALL REPAIRS BUT THE EFFORT IS DELAYED DUE TO THE COVID-19 SHUTDOWN.

SEE PTRS ENTRY EA27202002294 FOR RECORD OF INVESTIGATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
