## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS OUT WITH A FAMILY FRIEND FLYING AROUND ON A GOOD WEATHER DAY. THEY DID SOME LANDINGS AT 2A5 AIRPORT (ESTIMATED FOUR LANDINGS THERE) THEN RETURNED TO LAND AT 3A4. HE SET UP FOR RUNWAY 17, BUT CAME IN A LITTLE HIGH, WHICH MADE HIM A LITTLE FAST ON APPROACH WHEN HE TRIED TO CORRECT. FOCUSING ON THE LENGTH OF THE RUNWAY, HE FORGOT TO BRING THE LANDING GEAR DOWN. AIRCRAFT SETTLED TO THE RUNWAY WITHOUT EXITING THE RUNWAY, AND WAS CARTED OFF TO HIS HANGAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
