## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEB 26, 2020, APPROXIMATELY 0940 LOCAL TIME, A CHALLENGER CL-601 REGISTERED AS N45WL WAS ENROUTE FROM NAS TO FLL AT LEVEL 200 WHEN THE LEFT HAND FRONT WINDSHIELD CRACKED IN FLIGHT. FLIGHT CREW REPORTED THE CRACKED WINDSHIELD TO ATC. FLIGHT CREW BEGAN A DECENT TO A LOWER ALTITUDE. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AT FLL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
