## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REQUESTED LANDING ON RUNWAY 32 AT PBI, SINCE THE WINDS WERE GUSTY FROM A NORTHWESTERLY DIRECTION. AIRMAN STATED THAT HE LANDED PRIOR TO THRESHOLD TO AVOID CROSSING A PERPENDICULAR RUNWAY DURING LANDING. PBI AIRPORT OPERATIONS MET AIRMAN AT US CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION AND INFORMED HIM THAT HE LANDED ON THE EMAS. AIRMAN DENIES LANDING ON THE EMAS AND STATES HE LANDED ON THE RUNWAY ARROW. HOWEVER, THIS LANDING WAS STILL PRIOR TO RUNWAY THRESHOLD. AIRPORT OPERATIONS PROVIDED A PHOTO OF TIRE MARK ON RUNWAY 32 EMAS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
