## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ATC REPORTED THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RUNWAY 22, GEAR UP. PILOT PROVIDED A STATEMENT INDICATING THAT HE WAS PERFORMING "TOUCH AND GO'S". CAME IN ON

FINAL, PUT THE GEAR DOWN, AND HARD LANDING. THE PILOT STATED THAT IN

HONESTY, HE DID NOT CHECK THE LIGHT OR MIRROR . . . WIND WAS A LITTLE CRAZY

AND HE WAS MAKING SURE TO STAY ON TRACK. THE FBO THAT ASSISTED WITH RECOVERING THE AIRCRAFT FROM THE RUNWAY PROVIDED A STATEMENT INDICATING THAT UPON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRCRAFT NOTICED THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL IN THE "UP" POSITION. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN HOISTED AND WHILE IN THE AIR, TURNED ON AIRCRAFT POWER AND WAS HEARING THE GEAR WARNING HORN. THE MECHANIC SELECTED THE GEAR HANDLE TO THE DOWN POSITION AND FOUND THE GEAR WOULD COME DOWN AND LOCKED WITH THE GEAR HORN QUITTING AT THAT TIME. AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED TO HANGAR FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
