## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CFI AND STUDENT WERE DOING TOUCH AND GOES AT MOBILE, AZ (1AZ0) AND DUE TO A HARD LANDING THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT. THIS WAS UNKNOWN TO THEM AS THE REMAINING GEAR RETRACTED NORMALLY AND THEY PROCEEDED BACK TO GOODYEAR, AZ (GYR). IT WAS UPON FINAL AT GYR THAT THEY HAD THREE GREEN LIGHTS YET ANOTHER PILOT ON THE TAXIWAY NOTICED THAT NOT ALL GEAR APPEARED DOWN AND RADIOED THE SUBJECT AIRCRAFT TO DO A GO AROUND AND EVALUATE WHAT TO DO. IT WAS THOUGHT AT THIS TIME DUE TO ANOTHER AIRCRAFT IN TRAIL LOOKING AT THE UNDERSIDE OF THE SUBJECT AIRCRAFT THAT THE RIGHT GEAR MAY BE STUCK, THE COMPANY ADVISED THE AIRCRAFT TO RETRACT ALL GEAR AND LAND GEAR UP. AFTER LIFTING THE AIRCRAFT UP OFF THE RUNWAY I DETERMINED THAT THE RIGHT GEAR WAS COMPLETELY MISSING AND MUST BE AT THE PREVIOUS AIRPORT (1AZ0).

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
