## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NOTE: THIS AIRMAN IS A COMMERCIALLY RATED ROTOR-CRAFT HELICOPTER PILOT. SHE IS ENROLLED IN A PART 141 RTP PROGRAM (ROTORCRAFT TRANSITION PROGRAM) TO OBTAIN HER ADDED/CATEGORY AND CLASS RATING (ASEL/AIRPLANE SINGLE ENGINE LAND)

WHILE ON HER FIRST SUPERVISED SOLO, ATTEMPTING TO LAND RUNWAY 24, AT TRENTON-MERCER COUNTY AIRPORT (TTN), THE AIRCRAFT LANDED FLAT AND PORPOISED SEVERAL TIMES. THE AIRMAN INITIATED A GO AROUND, ONLY AT THE LAST MINUTE TO ABORT THAT DECISION. THE AIRCRAFTS NOSE STRUCK THE RUNWAY AND THE AIRCRAFT EVENTUALLY VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY. INSPECTOR AT THE SCENE INSPECTED AIRCRAFT, DAMAGE TO PROPELLER, NOSE LANDING GEAR, AND BUCKLING OF

ENGINE FIREWALL. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE STUDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
