## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING ROLL OUT CROSS WIND GUST AT LOW AIRCRAFT SPEED, PUSHED AIRCRAFT OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT STRUCK 5000 FEET REMAINING MARKER SIGN. DAMAGE TO WING AND SIGN ARE MINIMAL. AIRCRAFT BECAME STUCK IN MUD. AIRCRAFT TOWED OUT OF MUD AND TAXIED TO HANGAR. PILOT/BUILDER DISCOVERED THAT LEFT PEDAL AT FULL FORWARD ADJUSTMENT WITH FULL LEFT PEDAL WOULD CONTACT THE CABIN HEAT CABLE BRACKET. A BEND IN THE CABLE INDICATED THAT INTERFERENCE HAD OCCURRED AND MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE INABILITY TO CONTROL AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
