## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER COMPETING TWO FULL STOP LANDINGS AND UPON LANDING FOR THE THIRD TIME A WIND GUST PUSHED THE AIRCRAFT INTO A RUNWAY LIGHT. THE LIGHT DEFLECTED INTO THE UNDERCARRIAGE DAMAGING THE COMPOSITE STRUCTURE. THE AIRPORT WAS CLOSED, BUT THE PILOT NOTIFIED AIRPORT MANAGEMENT THE NEXT MORNING. THE AIRPORT MANAGER TOOK THE NAME AND NUMBER OF THE PILOT AND SAID THEY WOULD CONTACT HIM, IF NECESSARY. UPON AIRCRAFT CHECK-IN, THE PILOT RECORDED THE INCIDENT INTO THE OWNER?S COMPUTER DATABASE AND GROUNDED THE AIRCRAFT. IMMEDIATELY AFTER CHECK-IN THE PILOT ALSO CALLED THE OWNER AND LEFT A VOICE MAIL MESSAGE OF THE INCIDENT ENSURING THE AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
