PILOT RETURNED TO AIRPORT FOR LANDING AFTER NOTICING THE WIND WERE PICKING UP.  UPON LANDING HE ENCOUNTERED A GUST PICKING UP THE RIGHT WING FORCING THE WHEEL TO TOUCH.  THE AIRCRAFT LEFT THE RUNWAY AND STRUCK TREE SAPLINGS CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES.
