## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N6306P, A CESSNA 152, MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING ON A SERVICE ROAD APPROXIMATELY ONE QUARTER OF A MILE WEST OF CORONA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. THERE WERE TWO PEOPLE ON BOARD, THE PILOT AND A PASSENGER. THE PILOT, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, WAS PERFORMING TOUCH AND GO TAKE OFF AND LANDINGS IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN AT CORONA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. THE FIRST TAKE-OFF AND LANDING WAS NON EVENTFUL, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS PERFORMING OPTIMALLY. AFTER THE SECOND TAKE-OFF, THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN A CLIMB TO PATTERN ALTITUDE. AFTER TURNING CROSS WIND, THE ENGINE FAILED. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT ON THE SERVICE ROAD, BUT DID NOT MAKE IT. THE AIRCRAFT HIT A FENCE, WENT DOWN A SMALL HILL AND EVENTUALLY HIT NOSE DOWN ON THE SERVICE ROAD CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP UPSIDE DOWN. THE AIRCRAFT RESULTED IN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE WITH MINOR INJURIES TO THE PILOT AND PASSENGER.
