## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT ROTATION ON RUNWAY 1 AT ILG, THE #2 ENGINE INGESTED A BIRD. DUE TO EXCESSIVE VIBRATION, LOSS OF OIL PRESSURE, AND LOSS OF POWER, THE COCKPIT CREW SHUT DOWN THE #2 ENGINE, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO THE AIRPORT. AIRCRAFT LANDED NORMALLY AND TAXIED TO THE FBO RAMP. AFTER EXITING THE AIRCRAFT, THE COCKPIT CREW OBSERVED A MISSING BLADE FROM THE FAN OF THE #2 ENGINE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
