## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PIC WAS AN INSTRUCTOR AND THE PASSENGER WAS A STUDENT. ON THIS DAY THEY WERE PRACTICING GLASSY WATER LANDINGS AT LAKE DORA, FLORIDA WITH THE STUDENT AT THE CONTROLS.

ON THE EIGHTH AND LAST LANDING THEY COMPLETED THEIR CHECKS AND WERE MAKING A STABILIZED APPROACH WITH A 100FT/MIN DESCENT.

UPON TOUCHDOWN THEY BEGAN TO PORPOISE. THE INSTRUCTOR (PIC) TOOK CONTROL, RETARDED THE THROTTLE AND HELD THE LANDING ATTITUDE. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP. THEY HEARD WATER LEAKING IN AND TAXIED CLOSE TO SHORE AND EVACUATED THE AIRCRAFT AS IT BEGAN TO SINK.

DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AS A RESULT OF THE PORPOISING DURING LANDING WAS MINOR. THERE WERE NO INJURIES.
