## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 23, 2020, AT 1130 MDT, A JAVRON SUPER CUB (PA-18 REPLICA), N242N, REGISTERED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, STRUCK A STOP SIGN AFTER BEING INSTRUCTED TO TAXI ON A TAXIWAY, WHICH WAS CLOSED, VIA NOTAM AT EL PASO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, EL PASO TEXAS. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND IT IS UNKNOWN IF A VFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT INCURRED MINOR DAMAGED, AND THE COMMERCIAL PILOT EXPERIENCED NO INJURIES. THE LOCAL PERSONAL FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT EL PASO, TEXAS, ON MAY 23, 2020, AT 1127 MDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
