## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN PERFORMED GUMPS CHECK DID NOT EXTEND LANDING GEAR. APPROACHED LANDING PATTERN AND PROCEEDED TO ENTER BASE AND FINAL LEGS FOR RUNWAY 27. AIRMAN VERIFIED WIND ON GROUND AND BEGAN DECENT. AIRMAN STATED THERE WAS A SLIGHT WIND, SO HE PROCEEDED WITH POWER. WHEN AIRMAN WAS IN FLAIR TO LAND, AIRMAN STATED HE REALIZED HIS LANDING GEAR WAS NOT EXTENDED AND FELT IT WAS TOO LATE TO CORRECT AND ABORT THE LANDING. AIRMAN STATED AIRPLANE SKIDDED STRAIGHT FOR ABOUT 150 FEET.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
