## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED 69NC AT APPROX. 4:55PM ON JUNE 6 2020. AFTER FLYING FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES THE ENGINE BEGAN TO RUN ROUGH. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED A SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT OF THE FUEL MIXTURE AND TURNED ON THE EMERGENCY FUEL PUMP. A FEW SECONDS LATER THE ENGINE STOPPED. THE AIRMAN ATTEMPTED TO START THE ENGINE ONCE MORE WITHOUT SUCCESS. A FORCED LANDING WAS MADE TO AN UNIMPROVED FIELD WHERE MINOR DAMGE WAS SUSTAINED TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
