## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING DESCENT TO LAND AT NAPLES AIRPORT, THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC ) WHILE TRYING TO ACCELERATE REPORTED A LOSS IN POWER WITHOUT THE ENGINE QUITTING. THE PIC WAS DIRECTED BY AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL (ATC) TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT ON INTERSTATE I75 SOUTH AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY WITHOUT INCIDENT. FSDO-19 INSPECTOR?S ARRIVED ON SCENE AND OBSERVED NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT, AN INSPECTION OF THE COCKPIT SHOWED THAT THERE WAS FUEL IN BOTH WING TANKS. RELEASED THE AIRCRAFT WHERE IT WAS TOWED TO NAPLES AIRPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
