## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 16, 2020, N186DT WAS INBOUND FOR LANDING ON RUNWAY 17R AT FORT WORTH SPINKS AIRPORT (KFWS). AT APPROXIMATELY 1713 UTC, N186DT WAS ON ABOUT A ONE MILE FINAL WHEN THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY DUE TO A BIRD STRIKE. THE PILOT AND ONE PASSENGER WERE UNINJURED. ONE PASSENGER WHO WAS SITTING IN THE FRONT RIGHT SEAT HAD A FEW LACERATIONS AND WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AS A PRECAUTION. THE AIRCRAFT WAS IMPACTED BY THE BIRD ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE WINDSCREEN CAUSING A HOLE IN THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE WINDSCREEN. THE INTERIOR HAD A FEW SCRATCHES. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER OR OTHER COMPONENTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
