## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FOLLOWING TAKEOFF FROM MRH, SOMETIME AFTER 1500 EDT ON JUNE 26, 2020, THE PILOT NOTICED LOSS OF OIL PRESSURE AND IMMEDIATELY TURNED TOWARD THE AIRPORT. HE ANNOUNCED HIS EMERGENCY AND DECLARED INTENTION TO LAND AT KMRH. THE ENGINE THEN STARTED TO SHAKE AND THEN QUIT. THE PILOT KNEW HE COULDN?T MAKE THE AIRPORT, SO HE PICKED OUT A DESERTED STRETCH OF BEACH AND LANDED. NO INJURIES OR DAMAGE OTHER THAN THE ENGINE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
