PILOT STATED HE AND PASSENGER DEPARTED WOLF LAKE TO KANTISHNA FOLLOWING DENALI PARK ROAD. 20 MILES OUT OF KANTISHNA THE FLIGHT ENCOUNTERED A FOG BANK WITH LIGHT RAIN. PILOT TURNED THE AIRCRAFT AROUND TO HEAD BACK BUT WEATHER HAD MOVED IN BEHIND THEM. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER DECIDED THEY NEEDED TO PUT AIRCRAFT DOWN. AS THE RAIN INTENSIFIED THE PASSENGER OBSERVED A GREEN PATCH OF TUNDRA, LONG ENOUGH TO LAND. THE PILOT PUT AIRCRAFT DOWN ON THE TUNDRA. WHILE ON ROLL OUT NOTICED A DROP OFF SO PILOT APPLIED HEAVY BREAK. AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER ONTO THE PROPELLER AND CAME TO A STOP.
