PILOT WAS AT LEVEL FLIGHT ON THE DOWNWIND WHEN HIS AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO VIBRATE FOLLOWED BY THE DEPARTURE OF THE PROPELLER FROM THE AIRCRAFT DUE TO  CRANKSHAFT FAILURE,  PILOT WAS ABLE TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT SAFELY BACK ON THE DECK WITH NO FURTHER AIRCRAFT DAMAGE.
