## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED ON AN UNMARKED AIRSTRIP THAT WAS UNIMPROVED. AFTER PREFLIGHT, THE PILOT BEGAN HIS TAKEOFF ROLL AND AFTER HALF THE RUNWAY WAS PASSED THE PILOT MADE THE DETERMINATION THAT THE AIRSPEED WAS INSUFFICIENT FOR THE REMAINING DISTANCE LEFT. THE PILOT STATED THAT IT MAY HAVE BEEN BECUASE IT WAS RAINING ALL DAY AND THAT GROUND WAS SOFT.

AFTER CUTTING POWER, AND IN THE LAST 1/4 OF THE RUNWAY, THERE WERE 8 INCH DIAMETER LOW CUT TREE STUMPS THAT PRETRUDED FROIM THE GROUND WHICH CAUGHT A WHEEL AND CAUSE THE AIRCRAFT TO GO OVER ON ITS NOSE. THIS IS WHERE THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
