## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF FROM KSFB AT APPROXIMATELY 800 FT MSL HE ENCOUNTERED A LOSS OF ENGINE POWER.

HE STATED THAT HE TURNED AROUND AND LANDED AT KSFB. THE PILOT LANDED SHORT OF THE RUNWAY WITHOUT INCIDENT. NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND NO ONE SUSTAINED INJURIES.

SUBSEQUENT MAINTENANCE REVEALED THAT THE ADHESIVE HAD FAILED WHERE THE BLADDER ATTACHES TO THE FUEL LINE. NO OTHER DAMAGE WAS FOUND WITH THE FUEL BLADDER. THE BLADDER WAS ORIGINALLY INSTALLED IN 2007.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
