## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 07/18/2020 A CIRRUS SR-22, N324BR WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 31 AT ATLANTIC CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ACY). AS THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN AND STARTED IT'S ROLL OUT THE PILOT NOTICED THAT THE ARRESTING CABLE WAS IN THE RAISED POSITION. AIRCRAFT STRUCK THE CABLE AND DAMAGED ONLY THE NOSE AND MAIN WHEEL FAIRINGS. THERE WAS NO OTHER DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND NO INJURIES. A/C DID RECEIVE A FERRY PERMIT TO TRAVEL BACK TO FARMINGDALE AIRPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
