## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 07/19/2020 THE STUDENT PILOT WAS PERFORMING HER FIRST SOLO FLIGHT. AT APPROXIMATELY 1330 LOCAL TIME SHE WAS COMPLETING HER 2ND LAP. JUST PRIOR TO TOUCHING DOWN ON RUNWAY 20, SHE EXPERIENCED AN UNEXPECTED GUST FROM THE RIGHT THAT BLEW THE AIRCRAFT LEFT OF THE CENTER LINE. SHE APPLIED FULL BRAKES SKIDDING OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY CAUSING THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE A RUNWAY EDGE LIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 25 FEET OFF THE EAST SIDE OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
