## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT APPROACHED AIRPORT OVER A MONUTAIN, DROPPED INTO THE PATTERN, PILOT ESTIMATED THAT THEY WERE A LITTLE HIGH. PILOT INDICATED THEY HAD TO DROP ELEVATION WHICH INCREASED SPEED. AS AIRPLANE TOUCHED THE GROUND A CROSSWIND GUSTED CAUSING THE AIRPLANE TO MOVE TOWARDS THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY. AIRPLANE CLIPPED 4 ELEVATED RUNWAY LIGHTS. AIRPLANE HAD SOME DENTS IN THE UNDERSIDE OF THE WING, NO CONTROL SURFACE DAMAGE. NO INJURIES TO PILOT OR PASSENGER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
