## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT DEPARTED FOK FOR ACK AND SHORTLY AFTER DEPARTURE, THE CAPTAIN HEARD A NOISE THAT WAS SHORTLY FOLLOWED BY A MASTER CAUTION LIGHT FOR THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. THE CREW DIVERTED TO PVD TO CONDUCT AN EMERGENCY LANDING. THE FIRST OFFICER MANUALLY EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS MANUALLY PUMPED ON LANDING CAUSING THE MAIN GEAR TO LOCK UP. THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED TO A STOP ON RUNWAY 23 AT PVD AFTER LEAVING TIRE AND WHEEL DEBRIS ON THE RUNWAY AS THE TIRES AND WHEELS WERE NOT ROTATING DUE TO THE MANUAL EMERGENCY BRAKING. THE 2 CREWMEMBERS AND 3 PASSENGERS EXITED ON THE RUNWAY THROUGH THE AIRCRAFT MAIN ENTRY DOOR AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
