## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS ON A VFR APPROACH TO SENECA COUNTY (TIFFIN, 1G6) AND CONDUCTED A GO AROUND DUE TO AN AIRCRAFT TAXIING DOWN THE ACTIVE RUNWAY (PARALLEL TAXIWAY WAS CLOSED AT THE TIME). THE PILOT NEGLECTED TO CONDUCT A PRE-LANDING CHECKLIST AND DID NOT LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. THE SECOND APPROACH TO LANDING RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT PROPELLER STRIKING THE PAVEMENT. THE PILOT REALIZED WHAT HAPPENED AND ELECTED TO GO AROUND. THIRD APPROACH AND LANDING WAS NORMAL. DURING REFUELING, THE PILOT NOTICED THE PROPELLER WAS DAMAGED DUE TO THE GEAR UP LANDING. THE PILOT REPORTED NO OTHER DAMAGE. THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES OR OTHER PROPERTY DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
