## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT APPROXIMATELY 0700 CST ON AUGUST 5, 2020, N41024, A THRUSH S2RHG-T65, LOST CONTROL DURING A LANDING AT A PRIVATE AIRPORT NEAR CARLINVILLE, ILLINOIS. THE PILOT STATED THAT AFTER LANDING THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO DRIFT TO THE LEFT. HE STATED THAT HE ATTEMPTED TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT BUT HIS BRAKES WERE LESS EFFECTIVE DUE TO THE WET GRASS. HE STATED THAT THE SPRAY BOOM ON HIS LEFT WING CAUGHT THE SOYBEANS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY BEFORE HE WAS ABLE TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT OR STEER IT BACK TO THE CENTER OF THE RUNWAY. AS A RESULT, THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT TIPPED FORWARD. THE RIGHT WING TIP AND PROPPELER RECEIVED DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF THE NOSE TIPPING FORWARD.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
