## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AS REPORTED BY THE PILOT, FRIDAY MORNING WAS CALM. IT WAS PLANNED TO DO A COUPLE FULL POWER CHECKS, BRING THE PLANE OFF THE GROUND A FEW FEET. WHEN THE PILOT GAVE THE AIRCRAFT, FULL THROTTLE IT SEEMED TO BE INSTANTLY IN THE AIR. BEFORE HE COULD REDUCE POWER THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET IN THE AIR, 1/2 THE FIELD WAS GONE SO THE PILOT DECIDED IT WAS BEST TO FINISH THE TAKEOFF, GO AROUND, AND THEN LAND. AFTER TWO FIELD APPROACHES AND TWO TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS. ON THE THIRD TIME, THE INTENT WAS TO DO A FULL STOP ON LANDING. ON THE THIRD LANDING ATTEMPT, THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED AND USED UP THE RUNWAY THE PILOT DECIDED TO DO A GO AROUND. HE ADDED A LITTLE POWER AND RETURNED TO THE AIR. IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKEOFF, THE PILOT STALLED THE LEFT WING. THE LEFT WING DROPPED AND HIT THE GROUND. THE AIRCRAFT CARTWHEELED, AFTER THE ENGINE AND RIGHT WING TIP HIT THE GROUND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST FACING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF FLIGHT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR20CA274](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR20CA274), Aug 14, 2020: Uskoski Ridge Runner IV (N11752), Vancouver, WA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain airplane control while maneuvering to land which resulted in an aerodynamic stall at a low altitude, which the pilot was unable to recover from.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
