## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 16, 2020, AT APPROXIMATELY 2020 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME, A BEECH V35B AIRPLANE N4180S, SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AFTER A GEAR UP LANDING ON RUNWAY 03 AT MAX WESTHEIMER AIRPORT IN NORMAN, OKLAHOMA (KOUN) THE PILOT BY OWN ADMISSION STATED THAT HE "FAILED TO UTILIZE HIS CHECKLIST, AND FORGOT TO PUT THE LANDING GEAR IN THE DOWN POSITION PRIOR TO LANDING". THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RUNWAY AND RESULTED IN A GEAR UP LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST UPRIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RUNWAY. MINOR DAMAGE WAS INCURRED TO THE AIRCRAFT UNDER- CARRIAGE SKIN, AND LEFT AND RIGHT FLAPS. SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE WAS INCURRED TO THE PROPELLER. A POST ACCIDENT INSPECTION DID NOT REVEAL ANY AIRCRAFT OR FLIGHT CONTROL ANOMALY THAT COULD HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THIS INCIDENT. I HAVE VERBALLY COUNSELED THE PIC REGARDING THE IMPORTANCE OF UTILIZING HIS CHECKLIST. THE PIC CONCURS, AND WILL UTILIZE HIS CHECKLIST IN ALL ASPECTS OF FLIGHT OPERATIONS IN THE FUTURE. SEE SAS ACTIVITY I.D. SW15202101462 FOR DETAILS ON COUNSELING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
