## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SHAREPOINT INVESTIGATION NO. 3264: ON 08/22/2020,N554CA, A CL-600-2D24,OWNED AND OPERATED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, OPERATING AS ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CONNECTION FLIGHT 3614 ABORTED A TAKEOFF ON RWY 22L AT DTW DUE TO A REPORT OF SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT AND CABIN. THE PIC INSTRUCTED THE F/AS TO HAVE THE PAX ONLY USE THE MAIN CABIN DOOR AND NOT USE ANY OTHER EXITS FOR THE EMERGENCY EGRESS. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO ANY FLIGHT CREW OR PAXS DURING THE EVACUATION. BOTH PILOTS AND THE TWO FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WERE INTERVIEWED BY FAA CMO PERSONNEL (CABIN SAFETY, AND OPERATIONS). ATC TAPES WERE OBTAINED FOR THIS INCIDENT. THIS REPORT IS NOT RELATED TO ANY NMAC OR PILOT DEVIATION REPORTED BY ATC.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
