## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 08/29/2020, THE PILOT AND INSTRUCTOR DEPARTED ELYRIA (1G1), AND WERE PERFORMING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS AT LORAIN COUNTY AIRPORT (LPR). AT 1420 EST, THE AIRCRAFT WAS ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 25. THE PILOT AND INSTRUCTOR BECAME DISTRACTED WITH ANOTHER AIRCRAFT, THAT WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 7, AND FORGOT TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON ITS BELLY WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE BELLY SKIN, NOSE LANDING GEAR DOOR, ANTENNA, AND PROP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
