## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHEN THE PILOT UNDER INSTRUCTION (PUI)LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRPLANE, THE CFI TOOK CONTROL TO INITIATE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS. THE PUI TOOK OVER CONTROL FROM THE CFI AND ADDED FULL POWER AND LEFT STICK INPUT WHICH EXACERBATED THE LOSS OF CONTROL. THE CFI REGAINED CONTROL AND GOT THE AIRPLANE STOPPED ON THE INFIELD GRASS AFTER STRIKING 2 TAXIWAY LIGHTS AND 1 RUNWAY LIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
