## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A STUDENT PILOT IS ON HIS SECOND SUPERVISED SOLO, PRACTICING SOLO TAKE-OFF AND LANDINGS ON RWY 33R IN N946SF, A CESSNA 152. ON HIS THIRD LANDING, HE LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRPLANE AFTER A HARD LANDING DURING TOUCHDOWN. DUE TO THE HARD LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED AND TURNED TO LEFT, BEFORE HITTING THE GROUND HARD FOR SECOND TIME. THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED NOSE OVER ON THE GRASS RUNWAY, RWY 33L. THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. NO INJURIES ON THE STUDENT PILOT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
