THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE TAIL SECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE CERTIFICATED PRIVATE PILOT AND THE ONE PASSENGER WERE UNINJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN20LA430](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN20LA430), Sep 25, 2020: Piper PA46R-350T (N920X), Rogers, AR, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s inadvertent loss of aircraft control, resulting in substantial damage to the airframe during the spin recovery.
