THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR SAID HE RAN THROUGH THE EMERGENCY CHECKLIST AND FOUND THE BEST PLACE TO LAND. THEY WERE OVER A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD, SO HE MANEUVERED THE AIRCRAFT SAFELY TO A CANAL ROAD AND LANDED SAFELY WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
